Uncovering the kitchen of the future with Silestone Institute
The challenge
Powered by leading surface provider Cosentino, Silestone Institute is an international research platform dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge about domestic and professional kitchen spaces, the core of the Group’s operations. Having overseen the Institute’s development from the beginning, Marketwise was challenged to take this approach further and led ‘Global Kitchen’, a two-part, multi-year research project to explore current and future kitchen trends worldwide.
The home’s beating heart
What’s the role of the kitchen in the 21st century? The Global Kitchen studies show us that kitchens are directly linked to social transformation, telling the story of who we are and how we behave. We carried out in-depth interviews with experts and surveys with both B2B and B2C customers to find out why and how it can impact the sector, overseeing the research process all the way from preparation to the compilation of the final reports.
Amplifying results
With infographics, videos and the reports on hand, we took our findings to the press and launched a series of presentations across Cosentino’s showrooms around the globe to capitalize the PR potential of the research.
The goal
To produce market intelligence for Cosentino and its B2B and B2C customers, reinforcing its positioning as a knowledgeable and forward-thinking leader.
